The ceremony is on the lawn, so we recommend block heels or flats. Bring a layer for after sunset.

The poruwa
Our ceremony will take place on a poruwa, a traditional Sri Lankan wedding platform. We’ll exchange vows there alongside Buddhist blessings and Sri Lankan traditions that have been part of Anishka’s family’s weddings for generations.
We’ll share more about the meaning of each moment at the wedding.

A poruwa is a traditional Sri Lankan wedding platform and the center of our ceremony. We’ll exchange vows there alongside Buddhist blessings and Sri Lankan traditions from Anishka’s family. We’ll share more about the meaning of each moment at the wedding.
